《真真假假》是由知名导演西裏斯科什·慕克吉 执导的一部喜劇片，阿莫·帕拉卡 賓迪雅·戈斯瓦米 Deven Ver 等倾情出演，该片讲述了：喜劇，講一個男人通過裝假胡子裝扮成兄弟兩個人  ，周旋于女友和未來嶽父之間 ，因爲嶽父喜歡有胡子 的人，認爲有胡子的人成熟穩重。　　Rampra sad Dashra thprasad Sharma (Amol Palekar)  is looking for a bette r paying job. He and his sister Ratna (Manju Singh) ha ve no relatives or acquaintances  except  Dr. Kedar (David). Dr.Kedar tells  him about Bhavani Sha nkar's  (Utpal Dutt) firm k nown as Urmila Trad  ers. Shanka r is a w eird man. H e is a man of traditio nal values,  hence he  natur ally hates youth  wearing m odern clo thes. He  is a sports fan, but  thinks lowly of yo  uth kn owing  anything about sports. B ut his most weird trait is ha tred towar ds men  without moust aches. He thinks that men witho  ut moustaches  are cha racterless. 　　Ramp  rasad has  a moustache. He tak es ca re of other  problems by wea ring kurta feigning ignoranc e about sports . Bhavani hires hi m imme diately. Ram is a hardworki ng guy,  so Bha vani ( Ram) have no problems. How ever, R am once takes leave by pretending that his mothe r (who di ed many years ago) has taken ill, and goes to  watch a hockey match. Bhavani Shan kar, who al so atten ded the match, sees him th ere.　　The next day  Bhavani summ ons Ramprasad to his  office  and asks  him about  the Hockey ma tch. R ememberi ng the   plot of a movie a frien d of his is shootin g, Ram convinces Bhavani Shankar that he had seen his moustache-l ess identical twin Luc ky (alias Lakshm anprasad Das hrathprasad  Sharma ) at the stadium .　　Bh avani Shankar buys  his a rgument feels  bad about accusi ng him and decides to make amen ds by hiring Lucky to teach his daughter Urmila (Bindiya Goswami) music. Ramprasad  reluctantly shaves his moustache to be come Lucky a nd starts to te ach music to  Urmila. He is helped  by his ac tor frie nd Deven Verma (playing him self).　　Now Ur mila aka Urmi  is th e ex act opposite of her fa ther. She ta kes immediate li  king to Lucky, while Ram is barely noticed by her. Bhavani notices this  gives R am a nother  job to tutor on th e pretext of her exams. Meanwhile, Mr s. Srivastav (Dina Pat hak), a socialite,  is roped to play the p art of Ram,  Lakshman Ratna's m  other.  Like Ram, she  also ends up pl aying h  er own twin  in fro nt of Bhavan i.　　Ra  m decides  to tell Urmila the truth. Urmila te lls him to tell the tr uth to Bha vani as well. Ram goes to Bhavani to tell the truth,  but Bhavani sees Ram's moustache giving a way. Bhavan  i exposes Ram, but ends up thinking that  Lucky murdered Ram impersonat ed him to  marry  Urmi la.　　In a hilarious chase that follows, Bha vani ends up totalling a police  jeep. Th  e Senior Inspect or (Om Prakash ) mist akes him for a thug named Pascal D'Costa is abou t to  lock him up in the jail. On ly when hi s In  spector identifies   Bhav ani Shanka r by h is real identity is he freed. B y now, a harried Bhavani has  devel oped  hatred for tw  in as well.　　   On comin  g home, he finds that Urmila  Lucky ar e marrie d. He refuses to give them blessi ngs, u ntil Dr .Kedar comes to the s cene  explains the whole situation.  Now, Bhav ani become s even more furious,  but on ever  ybody's insi  stence, rel ents.
